We are excited to announce our 2025-2026 Competition Team! Find out all of the information below pertaining to our teams.

We have two competition teams for 2025-2026: Ages 7–10-year-olds, and Ages 11–14-year-olds. We have a maximum cap on each team. You do not have to audition to be on the team, however you must have instructor approval.

The 7-10 year olds will meet on Thursdays, from 6:30pm-7:30pm. The 11-14 year olds will meet on Tuesdays, from 6:30pm-7:30pm. There will be additional rehearsal/practices announced as needed by your instructor.

If you enroll on the competition team, you must also enroll in at least one recreational dance class. If you have excessive absences from your competition team class or practices, you are at risk of being withdrawn from the team. No refunds are given. 

​

The teams will attend one competition in 2026. Monthly tuition is the same as regular classes at The Floor School of Performing Arts. Competition fees, costumes, and travel are not included. The teams will be able to hold fundraisers to help them raise money for their competition.

We also are pleased to announce if you would like to have a solo competition routine (ie. solo tap in a competition environment)--you may also do that. Pricing for that will be $15 extra to the general private rates.

Not ready to join the team just yet? Check out our pre-competition class on Mondays, from 6:30pm-7:30pm for ages 7-14. This class will be used to help get you ready to be on a competition team or compete in competition events.​ For the pre comp class you also are required to take at least one recreational dance class.
